The first thing i noticed when waiting for King Gizzard to begin playng was the variation of characters in the crowd, there were people from every walk of life joined together to watch the masterpiece of the Australian phycadelic rock band.
I saw King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard live earlier this year. They were headlining at End Of the Road Festival at Llama Tree; a huge step up from when they last played in 2017. Their set list consisted of their most recent - and 24th - album PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation.

When King Gizzard finally came out on stage, after everyone had been anticipatedly looking forward to the whole festival, the whole crowd came alive. The people around me were thoroughly enjoying the music, their bodies were jumping and dancing in a cheerful manner. Closer to the middle, the crowd became an enourmous mosh pit filled with a feeling of amazement and awe at how incredible the sound felt through the way it played through our mind, body and soul. I saw atleast 10 people crowd surfing around me and over my head. Specifically, I remember the song "Gilla King" due to its repetetive lyrics and fast pace. However, every song had its own incredible solos or noise.
You could really appreciate the talent and techniques each band member used to create the art we were experiencing. I would class it as a night like no other and i highly recommend going to a King Gizzard concert, I guarantee you will not regret it!
